What is this business owner search?
Search a business and see the people behind it: the primary executive with title, plus further directors and officers where the register publishes them. The names come from official register filings, not scraped profiles, so what you see is who is formally responsible for the entity.
Knowing the owner or director matters at both ends of a deal: sales teams want the decision maker's name before the first call, and compliance teams must verify who controls a counterparty before onboarding it. One search covers both.

Owner, director, UBO: who is who?
Registers record different roles. A director (or managing director, Geschäftsführer, bestuurder) runs the entity day to day and is named in the trade register. A shareholder owns part of it. The ultimate beneficial owner (UBO) is the natural person who ultimately owns or controls it, often through layers of holdings, and is what AML law cares about.
A small business usually collapses all three into one person; in a group they diverge quickly. This search surfaces the registered officers per entity; for full ownership chains and UBO resolution across 380 million businesses, the corporate hierarchy data behind the API takes over where the free lookup stops.
