NACE code lookup: find any company's European industry classification

Search any business and see its NACE classification: the European industry code that says what the business actually does, with up to six codes per record where a business has multiple activities. It works in reverse too: search a business you know to learn which NACE code its industry carries.

NACE codes drive segmentation, compliance scoping and market sizing across Europe, but registers bury them. This lookup surfaces the codes with their descriptions next to the business profile, free and without an account.

NACE (Nomenclature statistique des Activités économiques dans la Communauté Européenne) is the EU's standard industry classification. It is hierarchical: 21 sections lettered A to U, then divisions (two digits), groups (three) and classes (four), so 62.01 means computer programming inside information and communication. National registers extend it further, like the Dutch SBI or the German WZ, which add a fifth digit.

Every business in an EU trade register carries at least one NACE code, assigned at registration from its stated activity. Because assignment is self-described, codes can lag reality; that is why serious segmentation checks the code and the actual profile together, which is exactly what a result here shows.
