Banks in the UK

Last updated

The UK banking sector is anchored by the Big Four (HSBC, Barclays, Lloyds Banking Group and NatWest Group) holding the bulk of British retail and commercial deposits, alongside Santander UK, Standard Chartered, Halifax and TSB. Behind them sit the challenger banks Monzo, Starling, Revolut and Atom Bank, the building-society tier led by Nationwide and Yorkshire, and the London-based investment banks like Goldman Sachs International, JPMorgan UK and Citigroup Europe. This page lists all 7,185 active UK banks, banking groups and building societies registered with Companies House across 167 regions, including retail, commercial, investment and private banking entities. Filter by region, employee size, revenue or licence type, then export to Excel or build an email or mailing list for FinTech, regulatory-supplier, recruitment or partnership outreach.
