What does the email verification do?
The check emails a one-time code to the address the consumer entered and asks for it in the flow. Only an address whose inbox the consumer actually controls gets through. Typos, invented addresses and someone-else's-email all fail at the same gate.
Because it runs as a flow step, the verified address flows straight into your systems together with the rest of the onboarding result, instead of living in a separate email tool.

Is this the same as an email deliverability check?
No. Deliverability tools guess whether an inbox exists. This check proves the consumer controls it, because only the inbox owner can enter the code.
Can I style the verification email?
Yes. Logo, colours and font follow your flow's branding, so the email reads as yours.
What if the consumer never receives the code?
The flow lets them correct the address and retry, so a typo fixes itself instead of failing the onboarding.
How do I integrate it?
